The Indianapolis Colts’ 2024 schedule is set, so let’s predict how the season is going to unfold.
Like every team, the Colts have some unknowns, particularly in the secondary, but the recipe for a successful season is absolutely there.
After narrowly missing out on the playoffs last season while not having Anthony Richardson, the Colts now enter Year 2 of the Shane Steichen era, a time when we often see teams make big jumps under their new offensive or defensive coach.
Led by the defensive front, the Colts should have one of the more disruptive front sevens in football. On offense they return their entire starting offensive line unit that was top 10 in both pressure rate and yards per rush, while Richardson has playmakers around him in Jonathan Taylor, Adonai Mitchell, and Michael Pittman.
“When you have your system in place, it helps big time, especially with the players understanding the verbiage and terminology,” Head coach Shane Steichen said. “But really trying to stay on the cutting edge of things because this league is always changing. So if we can do that and build on what we did last year, I’ll be excited for the 2024 season.”
Here is a game-by-game prediction for the Colts’ upcoming season:
