My Experience With G Fuel Energy Drink

Like many others, I started getting into energy drinks such as Monster.

The problem I had with these was the sugar content.

Even if I got the sugar free ones, I didnt like the thought of what the fizziness was doing to my teeth.

I decided to give GFuel ago, since many of the streamers I watched used to drink it. Plus I’d seen a couple of games I played do collabs with them.

The first issue I had was which flavor to get, there are just so many choices. Okay I suppose its a good issue to have.

I decided to go for Pewdiepie Gfuel flavor, which is Lingonberry. Now I’ll be honest, I’ve never heard of this fruit before and had not idea what it tastes like.

When I opened the tub, it smelled nice. I was surprised to see a white powder and not red like the actual berries.

Mixability

I’ve had powders in the past and to be honest they’ve not always mixed very well. This is NOT the case with GFuel.

I used a shaker and added 1 spoon of Gfuel with 14 oz of water and gave it a good shake for a couple of minutes.

Poured it out and it was powder free, other than a tiny amount at the bottom of the shaker. So it does mix very well.

Not sure if it would be the same if you was to use a spoon to stir and not use a shaker.

Taste

When I poured the drink out, it was a striking red. I gave it a smell and it was pleasant.

The taste was decent, it was not overpowering which I think is a good thing. Its hard to describe but it tasted natural. If it was overpowering then it would make me think it was artificial.

It also didn’t taste overly sweet, which again to me is a good thing. Overall I was really happy with the taste and if I could, I would have had another glass full!

Before drinking GFuel I was pretty tired as I had not been sleeping well the past few nights. I think I was falling asleep at my desk before taking it.

I drank it and felt no real difference, until around 20-30 minutes later.

All of a sudden I felt much more awake, I didnt feel tired like I did before drinking it. I felt so much more focused. The great thing is that the increased focus seemed to last for hours and hours.

I was gaming for a couple of hours and then went back to doing some work and I felt focused through the rest of the working day. Getting more tasks done and not procrastinating.

Another thing I liked about GFuel is that you dont get the crash afterwards. I continued to feel awake and energised throughout the day.
