2, The Kaplan Herald, Wednesday, January 13, 1999 Obituaries Police Rose "Bella" Guidry 1921-1999 Funeral services for Rose "Bella" Guidry, 78, were held Jan. 4, 1999 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Luling, La. Mrs. Guidry died on Dec. 31, 1998 at 11:10 p.m.

Burial was in the St. "Charles Cemetery in a nurisng home. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Andrea Guidry of Luling; three daughters and son-in-law, Rose Norma and Joe Oubre and Claire Guidry, all of Luling; three sisters, Mrs. Morgan of Glendale, Mrs. Annabelle Gary of Crowley and Mrs.

Lawrence Pousson of Lake Charles; 12 grandchildren and 11 great -grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Guidry; parents, Otis and Elia Buire Guidry; a daughter, Celeste Guidry; two brothers, Guidry and Paul Guidry; and one sister, Marie Guidry. Falgout Funeral Homes, Inc. of Raceland conducted all arrangements. Erica Carline LSU Dean's Erica Carline, a 1996 graduate been named to the LSU Dean's Miss Carline made the list in Mary Louise Reese 1919-1999 Funeral services for Mary Louise Reese, 79, were held in Gueydan at 1 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 8, 1999 at St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Rev. Grady Estilette officiating. Burial was in the Gueydan Cemetery Mrs.

Reese died Jan. 7, 1999 at 4:48 a.m. at Iberia Medical Center. A native of Morse, Mrs. Reese was a resident of Gueydan and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester R. Reese. Survivors include four sons, Paul Reese of Gueydan, Joseph M. Reese of Crowley, Chester Reese of Rayne and Winifred Reese of Biloxi, MS; one daughter, Mrs. Terry (Martha) Frederick of Jeanerette; one brother, Joseph Chiasson of Morse; one sister, Ament Lege of Gueydan; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
