I watched one of the preseason games later on this site. It claims that it is free but I beleive there is a charge.

I think Wizig is better used to download games after they have finished. Basically people post the games on there, spoiler free. that part of the site is completely free:

I wouldn't recommend it for live streams though, as they charge for that and are basically just redirecting you to a free site elsewhere. These are better streaming sites:

The problem with live streams is that they usually start late, are okay at first, then get worse as the game goes on- by the 4th Q they either keep freezing due to high demand, or they get blocked for copyright reasons- it used to drive me mad! So yeah, if you can't get league pass due to black outs, then it might be best to just wait til after the game and see if anyone posts it on the wizig forum.

Thanks, my guess is because MSG just went off they will stick to that until a large amount of subscribers cancel. Let's give it some time, if this is pro longed people will leave.

Actually they are offering league pass for a week and their sports package for a month. League pass rocks but I think this will last for more than a month.

If you have a choice, change providers! Fight the powers that be!

I have ATT U-Verse and am very happy. So far I can tell on league pass I am getting mostly HD. Last nite 5 games on and all HD! League Pass just not very good about getting MSG broadcast and last nite I had to listen to Toronto's guys who BTW are not that bad. They get a little excited at time but not too bad.

Seems MSG and Time Warner always going at it.

I got MSG and Yes but all games are blocked. Useless programing otherwise.

yeah, except I'm serious. I switched to Verizon Fios last year not knowing they only had MSG in standard def and it sucked. Had to travel the last 2 weeks and could only watch games streaming on the computer and it sucked. Seriously, you are all screwed until they settle this. I do however feel a bit guilty watching the Knicks on my big screen in high quality HD while the rest of you stream on tiny computer screens however, it doesn't change the fact that you are all screwed.

I'm in, this is exactly what we need. How do you think Verizon got rid of their stupid $2 fee? BofA got rid of their potential fee's for using debit cards because of bad press/media too.

Maybe the page needs a goal, like X number of people agree to cancel their service if MSG is not put back on by XX/XX/2012? Or by a certain amount of missed games?

If the TWC customers get loud enough, things will change. How stupid is it that we cannot watch our LOCAL basketball team because of the cable company? In many cases we do not have a choice who we sign up for. Most apartment buildings won't allow a Dish to be installed and in many cases TWC is the only option since FiOS is not available everywhere yet.

I believe the fault to lay with MSG. Tme Warner agreed to increase the fee by 6.5%. It's MSG's stance that since Time Waner threw a boat load of cash for the Lakers deal that a 53% increase sounds about right. MSG pulled the plug.

I like the cancel service part but I personally don't have anywhere to go. Amazing that I went from the possibility of no NBA season to can't watch my damn team from the comfort of my home.

I can't. My condo won't let me put a dish on the roof so no Direct TV and my neighborhood isn't wired for Fios. I'm screwed big time.
